Uniben Schedules the 2020 edition of their annual matriculation exercise to hold online due to the current Covid-19 pandemic
The University of Benin Benin city Edo state,(UNIBEN) has fixed Tuesday 15th of September as the day for the virtual matriculation ceremony for new admitted students for the 2019/2020 academic session.
The was disclosed by the Vice chancellor of the University, Professor(Mrs.) Lillian Salami in a letter through the office of the University’s Acting Registrar C.I Ehigiator on Friday 11th of September 2020.
In the letter it was disclosed that only the University’s principal officers, few designated officials as well as selected representative from various Colleges, Institutes, Schools and Faculties will be allowed to be physically present at the event which will take place at the main auditorium of the University.
Other Stakeholders of the Institution such as Deans, Provost, Hods, Directors as well as Matriculating student are to follow the program virtually by a link that would be provided by the Information Communication Technology Unit ICTU/CRPU of the University.
Individuals who will be present at the even are mandated to come along with their face mask in strict compliance to the outlined preventive Covid-19 protocols.
