Uniosun to hold 13th Matriculation Ceremony Online


Amid this COVID 19 pandemic, here is a good news for all Osun State University new student. The management of the school has deemed that the Uniosun 13th matriculation ceremony would hold despite the lock-down measure scheduled by the state government in containing the spread of the corona virus. The university was licensed on 21st December, 2006 and her main campus is located in Osogbo the Osun state capital city while other campuses are in five other cities spread across the six geopolitical zone which include Ifetedo, Ikire, Ipeu-Ijesa, Ejigbo and Okuku.

In a statement released by the school registrar, G.A.A. Shittu, on the official website of the school to notify all fresh students of Osun State University that there is the need to officially admit fresh students into the University as a way of tradition. The university has resolved to hold her matriculation ceremony online. The online matriculation ceremony will come up on (13/05/2020) Wednesday, 13th May, 2020.

The payment for the matriculation ceremony is to be made through electronic platform. All the new students are expected to pay a total of two thousand, five hundred naira (N2,500.00) each, as matriculation fee, and present the printout to their College Secretaries.

The school registrar also reiterated that registration and payment of appropriate fees are pre-requisites for matriculation and wishes all the new student a happy matriculation ceremony.

Note: All the matriculated students would have their matriculation oath form filled online and submitted online. The hard/original copy would be submitted at the respective Departments when they resumed normal academic activities.
