The West Africa Senior School Certificate examination for private candidates is also known as Waec GCE. Have you been asking when will WAEC GCE 2020 registration begin? WAEC GCE 2020 Registration Process

  • Candidates should start their registration by capturing their personal details and enrolling their fingerprint using the bio-metric data capture software.
  • Candidates are to enter their bio data which includes Name ( not more than 40 character), Date of birth, gender, disability, marital status, state of origin and nationality. NONE should be selected if no disability.
  • Candidates are required to take a picture with webcam camera having the following specification. 2.0MP 720p USB 2.0 . A Microsoft LifeCam HD 3000 Webcam is recommended.
  • Candidates are expected to submit a detailed contact information. A valid email, telephone number ( this is important as it is going to be used to trace each candidate should need arise), residential address, postal code, city and state.
  • Click to the accept button once you are done with the registration. A preview will be displayed for you to check what you have filled in very well and make sure they are correct. You can only make adjustments three times. After submitting the application form, modification will not be allowed.
  • The system will generate and allocate examination number when the registration is successfully completed and submitted. Candidates will now print the photo card/admission notice which will be required before entering into the examination hall.

Selection of subjects

Note that English and mathematics are automatically selected since they are compulsory for all candidates. A minimum of seven (7) subjects and maximum of (9) subjects (with English and Mathematics included) are to be selected by candidate.
