WASSCE new date

The west African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) new date has been announced by FG. Speaking today (Monday, 06/07/2020) at the Presidential Task Force on Covid 19, the honorable mister of Education made it known. He also stated that as soon as WAEC is concluded, other national examination will take up.

Minister of State for Education, Emaka Nwajiuba, announced that the WASSCE new date is August 4th to September 5th. It should be noted that the Examination which was supposed to start April 6th before was postponed because of the ravaging pandemic.

The Federal government has now officially approved a new date for the examination to commence. The PTF chairman, who is also the secretary to federal government has previously announced that schools should reopen for those who want to go into revision.

Federal government will be having a  stakeholders meeting on Education and the issue of safe reopening of schools will be properly resolved.

Students are now advised to that revised as there is only one month left for preparation.
